Assistant Principals

Jamie Vetter, Assistant Principal

My name is Jamie Vetter and I have been with the NYCDOE for the past 21 years.  As an educator and a  former early childhood teacher, I truly believe that the earliest years of schooling is where we make the most impressions on young minds.  There is nothing more joyful to me than instilling a love of learning in a young child and watching them grow during the process.

My name is Lorraine Farrauto. I have been District 24 strong since 1998, educating children, teachers, and families for over 25 years. In 2015, I joined the Mosaic Pre-K Centers Centers as a teacher, then I became a Site Coordinator for 7 years and now as an Assistant Principal. I want to share my excitement, dedication, and passion about this program with families and students. As an advocate for early childhood learning and experience, I believe play is the cornerstone of child development. Through play, children blossom socially and emotionally. We can learn so much through powerful interactions. I feel my journey has come full circle because I began as a New York City Public School Pre-K student in Brooklyn, NY and now I am among a wonderful program that supports and nurtures our future leaders.

Elizabeth Regan, Assistant Principal

My name is Liz Regan. My lifelong passion has been in the field of educating young children. My education includes a BA in Early Childhood Education and a MA in Reading. Throughout my career I have had the privilege to work closely with the teachers, students, and families of both Brooklyn and Queens. Together we have partnered to provide students with the tools and opportunities needed to become successful adults. In the NYCDOE I have served in the roles of student, teacher, literacy coach, early childhood instructional coordinator and citywide staff developer. I strongly believe in the power of a quality early childhood program and its ability to positively impact our students' futures. As a Mosaic Pre-K assistant principal I believe it is our responsibility to preserve the magic of childhood and I am thrilled to be part of the exceptional Mosaic team.

Jennifer Wynne, Assistant Principal

My name is Jennifer Wynne and I am an Assistant Principal at the Mosaic Pre-k Center.  I have worked in the NYCDOE for over 20 years beginning as a paraprofessional, also serving as an early childhood teacher of students with disabilities, an early childhood instructional coordinator, instructional coach, and an Assistant Principal.  I am committed to ensuring my programs high-quality early childhood care and education that gives all children a strong start in school and life. Collectively, as early childhood educators we play a critical role in ensuring that all students and families are on a path to lifelong success.  Working together we will continue to strengthen and expand all early learning opportunities for our youngest learners. To preserve the joys of early learning and play is by far the most rewarding job!
